Pencoed Foodbank

At a recent meeting of Pencoed Town Council The Mayor asked Councillors to donate to the Foodbank in Pencoed as it is a vital resource for the people in our town. An amazing effort was given by all Councillors in bringing in various donations. Hopefully this will go a long way in helping the Foodbank.

DOG FOULING ON FELINDRE ROAD PLAYING FIELDS.

Over the past couple of weeks there have been numerous cases of dog fouling on the playing fields on Felindre Road. Such pitches are used by Pencoed’s Rugby and Cricket clubs respectively, thus we kindly ask you to ensure that all dog waste is picked up when walking your dogs on or near the fields. This is to prevent any health and safety issues that may arise when the pitches are in use.
Likewise, if you are walking your dogs on the fields, could please try and stick to the outer edges of the fields and not the sports pitches themselves.
Thank you.
